Yes, with eyes open. Moon.com is operated by a named company stated in its terms, publishes its fees in its help centre, verifies identity before deposits and withdrawals, and offers a play-money mode. The cautions are that it is offshore, only weeks past public launch, and does not print a licence number in its terms. Our verdict page lays out the evidence row by row.

We found no indication of one. Scams tend to hide the operator, skip identity checks and bury fees; Moon does the opposite on all three. As a platform, it shows the trust signals you would want: a named operator, real terms, published fees and KYC. As a product, it is leveraged betting, and a bet at 1000x can be ended by a move of about 0.1% against you. A third-party review site claims an Anjouan gaming licence exists; we have not verified that against the register and Moon does not publish it, so we treat it as unconfirmed. Press coverage has reported, based on public LinkedIn postings, that the founders of Stake are connected to Moon through their company Easygo. Moon's own site does not name them, so we describe the link as reported rather than confirmed.

Public launch was around 25 to 26 August 2026, following an invite-only beta. The domain is far older: registered in 1994 and used by Moon Travel Guides until that business moved to its own address in 2025.

Moon does not publish the list in the help-centre pages we read. The accepted coins and networks are shown inside the cashier once you are verified.

Moon does not state a processing time. Its terms say withdrawals are paid in crypto after identity verification and anti-money-laundering checks, within minimum and maximum limits, minus network fees. Delays are most often caused by incomplete verification or a source-of-funds request.

Yes, before your first deposit and before any withdrawal. Moon asks for a government ID, front and back, plus a proof of address. Higher-risk accounts may also be asked for source-of-funds documents. Upload clear photos at registration and it is a one-time step.

No native app. Moon's help centre says to use the site in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen, which gives you an app-style icon without a download.

Yes. The homepage offers a play-money mode where you place Up and Down bets with a practice balance. It is the best way to see how leverage and the 8-hour holding fee behave before real money is involved.
